According to a press statement the company’s “incredibly valuable” Millennia Collection is a “never-before-achieved” combination of coloured diamonds from the famous Argyle Diamond Mine in Australia.
The mine closed last year, creating an increase in demand and a spike in prices for the coloured gemstones it has produced.
“This collection unites the world’s greatest red, pink and violet diamonds of their classes and uniquely affords the opportunity to appreciate all Argyle Diamonds have to offer,” says Fred Cuellar, CEO at Diamond Cutters International and author of the International Bestseller How to Buy a Diamond.
The last 70 stones from the Argyle mine went up for sale at auction yesterday.
